Hospice is a uniquely special way of caring for the terminally ill which provides not only physical and emotional comfort, but spiritual and social care, too, for the patient, family and significant others. Outpatient Care
Range of Services
- Physical: bathing, dressing, meal preparation, exercise, and housekeeping
- Emotional: providing understanding and counseling to manage emotions
- Social: ensuring that the patient has access to social activity as his/her condition comfortably warrants, to remain connected to others
- Spiritual: chaplains help the patient, his/her family, and friends, and manage the spiritual anxieties that accompany a terminal illness
